Art Deco Collectibles showcases portable classics of avant-garde modern design from Britain, Europe and the United States. It is the first book to bring together the small collectibles – from cigarette cases and lighters to powder compacts and cosmetics accessories, watches, jewelry, even cameras. Rodney Capstick-Dale co-founded the original Albemarle Gallery, London, in 1987, where his interest in modern British art focused on early abstract painting of the 1920s and 1930s. Diana Capstick-Dale trained as a graphic designer in Lausanne before completing an MA degree in stage design and working as a set and costume designer.
