Kreator je německá thrashmetalová kapela. Kapelu založil v roce 1982 Mille Petrozza pod názvem Tormentor. Brzy však skupinu přejmenoval na Kreator. Spolu s kapelami Destruction, Sodom a Tankard patří k velké čtyřce německého thrash metalu.
